Pieces of Home 2022 Prompt 7: Home

Home. I’m sure there are many profound and wonderful things that can be written about a home. So many romantic and beautiful words about something that is so precious to us as humans. The only words I can think of is grateful, and safe. Eungella is an Aboriginal word that means white cloud. It is a name we chose for this house when we built it. It has a yarning circle out the front and the birds visit everyday to be a part of the ecosystem that grows here. It is a place of our work as well. COVID has meant that we work from home 5 days a week most regularly. It is big enough for us to be in lockdown and has everything we need. So much gratitude for this house.
