Update2: 21/10/2013

Hi all,
We had a visit from the Midwife yesterday.  Her name is Alexis and she is one of a team of 4. Originally she is from Glasgow. They make home visits, work 7 days a week, 24 hours.  Whenever there are visits and parents in labour to attend to.
Alexis had a big questionnaire for Mum and Dad, and then she had a little machine to listen to my heart beat.  All in the lounge can you imagine.  I was moving around so in the middle of getting a fast little heart beat there were some massive whooping sounds.  Mum can't feel me move yet, but I am still pretty active. It has been our routine to wake up every morning between 1-3am wide awake for the last few weeks.  Not quite sure why.
In addition to the support and visits from the midwife team Mum will be attending a session with a nutritionist and an anesthetist as she is not in the normal weight range.  This makes her giggle.
Mum and Dad will also be attending parenting pre-natal classes.  The midwife said that it was probably not necessary, but Mum and Dad need all the help they can get. Alexis also said that the midwives try to keep everything as normal as possible and that it would be normal to go home 4 hours after the birth. Hmm, we will see.
Alexis seemed a little concerned that they didn't have any significant support network around, but they are a pretty good team.
Nadia and Adrian welcomed their little baby boy, Sam Reavley into the world yesterday at 2:23am (?). There are pictures on Facebook if you want to pop over and say hello & congrats! I'm sure we will be great mates.
A few things:
* Dad and the Grandparents need to go out and get their whooping cough vaccinations.
* Mum is late to get us booked in for the 18 week scan, we are now 19 weeks, so she is doing that this Saturday. Unlikely that they will find out if I am a boy or a girl.
* A baby party will be thrown in my honor in Rocky on the 28th December at Bluebirds Soccer Club. Another baby shower will be thrown in Brisbane at a later date in the beginning of 2014. Details to follow soon. The theme will be "Welcome to the World".  If you see any beach balls in the pattern of a globe let Mum know.
* Mum and Dad better start checking out Childcare teams as they can get super difficult to book into in Brisbane.
That's it, see you later!
Love Puggle!
