Christmas 2021 Story 5: Kirra's Christmas Classroom
Kirra’s Classroom was magic this year. They
made a fireplace and put a class photo on it surrounded by Christmas stockings.
They made a TreeRex (a Tyrannosaurus Rex decorated like a Christmas Tree),
Baubles hung from the ceiling, and a letter writing station was set up for the
kid’s to write to Mr and Ms Claus. It was so beautiful. There was also a Shelf
on the Elf in the Classroom causing mischief and as we were taking photos a
little boy stepped in and was very protective of the Elf, making sure we didn’t
touch it so the magic wouldn’t go away. There are magnificent giant artworks of
Santas and Rudolf the Reindeer, and gloriously bright decorated gift bags. For all
of the treasures to come home in. The artwork these two little girls produce
brings me joy. It’s also the reason I haven’t brought any Christmas decorations
for the last 5 years. There are so many handmade treasures that come home from
school and they so beautiful. Here are some photos of the artworks on display
in Kirra’s room this year in her Prep class at school. Kirra gave Kaiya and I a
very quick tour before she had to join the rest of her class for mat time to
start off the day with her teachers.
