December 2021 Story 22: Around here School Holiday Version

Around here we are getting gifts in the mail and beautiful packages of love and thanks.
Around here we are using the warm weather and any excuse quite frankly to indulge in Gelato at the local Matilda’s.
Around here we are trying out new places for dinner in suburbs where there are award winning Christmas Lights. It’s a beautiful season when generous people open up their driveways and streets to create fun for little ones and big ones who still believe in magic.
Around here the girls are having to pose in front of almost every pretty tree that Muma sees. Exhausting. Even silly faces and looking away at the camera does not stop her. She is relentless. #CantStopWontStop
Around here we eat RAINBOWS and have bento boxes of yummy food delivered to our door while Muma and Daddy have to work. Summer is so good for mangos and passionfruit especially.
Around here we are trying hard to form new and good habits on the school holidays and remembering that the year is almost done and we can start really relaxing and get some rest soon after Santa visits.
Around here we are making Lego and making little homes and play places (dioramas) for our dolls of all different sizes.
Around here we are playing cards and board games.
Around here we are getting a little bit of screen time while Muma and Daddy work from home in the evenings.
Around here we are enjoying spending more time at home and getting cuddles while cheeky COVID has all of us wanting to hibernate for several months we are so tired.
Around here we are skipping showers and baths and playing under the hose with shampoo on the trampoline. Hello Summer!
