02/08/2014 This girl (at 4+ months)!

Time for another post from Muma. Things have been a bit slow here as there is a daily return phone call list that Muma has to work through each day, primarily made up of recruiters and the occassional selection criteria to write. Come on private sector, wake up!

 

Time for another 'This girl' post.

 

This girl is super cool, and is sporting a very cool hairstyle at the moment. Large whisps of hair sticking up. It looks very much like the same haircut Hugless Douglas her Bear has, and yes that is another photo Muma must try get! So Cute!

This girl is awesome and so very resilient. Mum and Dad suspect she is going through teething at the moment and her voice is loud and clear in telling us what is going on. No crying yet but some serious gum soothing action and crazy interrupted night sleeps. The teething toys that previously of very little interest are getting a massive work out.

This girl is growing so beautifully. At a full stretch Kaiya is pulling the length of her onsies to thier limit. It's no secret of course but FYI Muma may need to retire some 00 sized clothes and pay some serious attention to what is in the next draw up. Here we come size 0 (6 to 12 months).

This girl has a great big voice. It gets loder and clearer everyday. Kaiya has conversations with us and tells us what is on her mind.

This girl is still finding daytime naps a problem. Kaiya is having 2 to 3 a day but frequently has trouble having long naps without Muma's help. It is possibly due to teething as well.

This girl is fun and active. Keep up Muma. Kaiya is picking up toys when she drops them and is enjoying them with all her senses.

This girl, despite all of the most wonderful toys in the world thinks that happy faces are the best thing ever. She lights up when hearing familiar voices and gives the greatest smiles.

This girl wants to be in any position except on her back and digs her elbows in behind her to move herself forward to sit up (that is why that car seat and pram a massive chore). Tummy time has become a bigger preference and learning to sit up is a big priority right now. When Kaiya has a bath she no longer wants to sit or layback. She wants to stand, kneel, tightly grip edges or do her favourite which is to hang over the edge of her tub like Kate Winslet did on the Titanic. This time the heroine is in the nuddy!
