Retrospective: Day 2 of My First Holiday in Noosa 24-27 July 2014

Hi all,

Enjoy Day 2 of our trip to Noosa

Day 2: Local adventures and the beach - Friday
The next day Muma and I got up early and went for an early morning swim.  It was a bit cold but the spa was warm like a great big bubble bath. It was wonderful. There will be another email just about the big swim we had later, it was pretty good.

After our swim we had a bath and Dad told us about some of the things that happened at the bucks party.  There is a picture of him doing the dance that the groom was doing on the dance floor. Dad was feeling a bit tired and needed some serious antioxidants so we headed into another part of town to find a curry.  We went to A Taste of Spice in Noosa Heads and Dad ordered Roti Chennai, a Musaman Curry and Char Kway Teow. It was great, the noodles were the favourite.

We then went for a walk down the street and into a book store that Muma remembers from their last visit.  She's not sure what it is that she loves about this book store but it is filled with the most interesting stuff. This time there was a large display of awesome children's books.  It featured books by local artists that have been able to publish a book with government grants and the mix of topics are so very interesting.  Even though these were not local, there is also a great range of books that are collaborations with Aboriginal artists. It is wonderful. There is a picture of Dad and I hanging out outside too.

That evening we headed back to the resort to grab what we needed for a picnic and headed to the beach. Enjoy the pictures and of course there are usually more on the blog when Muma gets some time to update it!
